I enjoyed judging Shih Tzus once again. I felt the quality was very good and some decisions were very close. Fronts need to be watched, as does size, as they varied from nearly Maltese to far too large. Presentation was excellent.

1 Dowson’s Penorson Liang. A real classy baby, excellent head and expression, moved really well, enjoyed his day out. A good future ahead.
2 Maule’s Daltricias Marsyas. More mature puppy shown in excellent coat. Not the front angles of the winner, but another bold and happy baby.
3 Williams’ Crowvalley Tears of A Clown.

1 Franks’ Hashanah Lock, Stock ‘n’ Barrel.. A classy gold and white with good head and expression. Firm topline and really uses his quarters on the move. Had lost his confidence in the challenge for Best Puppy.
2 Howard’s Tameron Mr CK Wun. Good black and white with a good head, shows the white in one eye. Good neck, front, brisket, moved well. Superbly presented.
3 McWilliam’s The Clowns In Town at Shirshaun.

1 Morris’ Sazkey Running Scared. Solid gold, excellent pigment, nose placement good. Good neck and front, good topline that he kept on the move. Correct tailset, handled well.
2 Young and Paradise’s Weatsom Cool Britannia at Sonoltay. Black and white of excellent type, challenged the winner hard, with the same good conformation, in finer bone than winner.
3 Johnson’s Keytor Hello It’s Me.

1 Edmonds’ Cedarhythe My Heartbreaker. Solid black of correct size and balance, good head and expression, moved proudly with a firm topline, shown in good coat.
2 Morris’ Sazkey Running Scared. I liked this youngster who challenged the winner hard. Good outline and size. Not the freedom of movement, but should have many admirers.
3 Noblett’s Senoble Crime of the Century.

1 Clifford’s Harropine Achy Breaky Heart at Cedarhythe. Black and white in good coat, excellent masculine size, excellent head, neck and good front assembly. Good all round balance and excellent tail. This dog is superb on the move, he has a wonderful snooty aloofness. Expertly handled by a delighted owner to win the Res CC.
2 Richardson’s Bellakerne Barnaby-Do. Smaller type. Black and white who is the classic breed type. Excellent head and body shape, I lile this breeder’s dogs. A close decision - just lacked the pizazz of the winner.
3 Crossley’s Santosha Santorini.

1 Goodwin’s Chelhama Aquarius. A gold and white who won this class easily. Superb head and expression, good mouth, good coat texture. He is the correct size with a good tailset, challenged hard - just lacked the enthusiasm of the winner.
2 Stirzaker’s Metadale the Stripper at Mylurose. Gold, nice type and correct size and outline, not the front assembly of the winner but a very sound dog. shown in good condition.

1 Superb class and I was splitting hairs amongst them. 1 Metcalfe’s Wingates Dangerous Liason (Imp). Superb clean cut outline. I loved his head and neck length, superb expression, soundest of fronts. Good bone and feet, shown in good muscular condition. He should be a great asset to British bloodlines. His second CC on the day, his crown should not be long. Only beaten by an excellent bitch showing in really great form.
2 Crossley’s Santosha D’Ya Feel Lucky. A very classical dog of correct size and outline, not the neck of the winner. Soundest of fronts, good firm topline, good quarters, moved and was superbly handled.
3 Franks’ Ch Hashanah Hot Shot.

1 Forbes’ Debeaux Last Laugh to Ekland. A really exquisite mature puppy, shown in full coat, excellent head and dark eye. Good neck, shoulders and front. Topline and ribbing very good, good tailset. She moved well, shall watch her career with interest.
2 Crossley’s Santosha C’Est Si Bonne.Black and white of good size, excellent profile, slightly larger cast than the winner, but the same excellent conformation, shown in full coat, will often challenge the winner.
3 Ace’s Matsonic Angel Delight.

1 Williams’ Paliden Calypso. Black with grey tail, superb outline, good size. Superb head and expression, excellent bone, front and good firm topline. Her quarters are well angulated with low hocks, she is very sound on the move, I loved her and she was a strong contender for the Res CC, but in the final run had to be contented with the Best Puppy.
2 Young and Paradise’s Sonoltay the Dream Goes On. Smaller gold and white with good expression and nose placement, good neck and front assembly, good topline. Moved well but not quite the rear freedom of the exquisite winner.
3 Fairchild’s Daltricia Echo.

1 Pyne’s Cedarhythe Ice Ice Baby at Spinnycop. Black and white who does not want to be any bigger. Excellent head, strong neck, good firm topline, correct teapot tail. Shown in full coat and good firm condition. She is so exhuberant that she gave her handler a hard time, but I loved this happy attitude. A promising future.

1 Kemp’s Harropine American Beauty at Metadale. Black and white of super make and shape. Loved her head, arched neck and shoulder angulation. Good topline and tailset, coat of good quality. However, she could have been better presented to complete the picture. Nice gentle handling.

1 Macdonald’s Centastage Moondancer. Cream and white with the darkest of pigment, good head and expression, good neck and and front assembly. Slightly long in loin for me, good tailset, abundant coat and well presented. Excellent freedom of movement, using her well muscled quarters.
2 Edmonds’ Cedarhythe Prim N Proper. Black and white with lovely expression and good body shape, shorter cast than the winner. Beaten on coat texture ansd the freedom of quarters of winner, well presented and handled.

1 Paczkowski’s Santosha Seashell to Lauramist JW. I just adored her, I had never seen this bitch before and I could not take my eyes from her. Her balance and outline is superb, as is her expression. The most lovely feminine bitch of correct size and shown on full, immaculate coat and condition. She moves really well with good reach and drive. I was thrilled to award her the CC (her third) and Best of Breed, congratulations.
2 Lord’s Huxlor Triggered Fantasy. Golod and white of classic looks and size, superb expression and true jaunty movement. Unfortunate to meet the winner and, as yet, does not have her finish. Wil,l definately win under many judges.

1 Frank’s Ch Hashanah Flash Point. Well known red and whirte with superb outline. Shown in super condition, but not quite the complete picture of the Limit winner on final decision of movement. I was very pleased to award the Res CC, well handled and presented.
2 Maule’s Shanjo Harmonia Ruby JW. Very close up, slightly larger gold and white with excellent make and shape. Not the eye shape of the winner, excellent forequarters, they were powerful and she uses them well. Shown and handled well, a really good future for this quality bitch.
3 Harvey’s Delmarvey’s Beauty Queen.
