The Welsh Kennel Club, one of my favourite shows. I was so pleased to be invited to judge here. My thanks to the exhibitors for a lovely entry and excellent presentation on the whole, also thier sportsmanship and the friendly atmosphere around the ring on the day, so lacking at some shows nowadays.
MPD. (11). 1. Devine and Grace’s, Mirazian Symbol of Freedom. 7 months old gold and white baby. Lovely size and shape. Moved out well really enjoying himself and showing off. 2. Steven’s, Peekin Jimmy Choo-Tu. Another gold and white. Not quite as settled as winner on the day, but again a good size and shape. Well put together and sound on the move. 3. Mollard’s, Cedarhythe a Stroke of Luck.
PD. (12). 1. Young and Paradise’s, Sonoltay Tuff Stuff. Stylish balck and white. Level topline, good head held high. Moved well carrying tail on high. Strong challenger for Best puppy. 2. Morris’s, Baranova Deadly Affair at Sazkey. Another nice youngster. Well put together. Good head and mouth, dark eyes. Moved well. 3. Cooke’s, Thaisu Strictly Sinatra.
JD. (4). 1. Rossers’, Stenrose Harry Potter. Well balanced black and white. Nice head and eye. Level back, tail set on high. Moved well. 2. Dowson’s, Penorson Liang. Gold and white. Nice head and eyes. Did not show himself to advantage on the day. Rushing in the ring and did not settle.
ND. (4). 1. Morris’s, Baranova Deadly Affair at Sazkey. 2. Diffeys’, Marhilway Golden Nugget. Solid gold. Not as mature as winner. Good head and shape. An honest chap moved out well.
PGD. (15). 1. Ritchies’, Laurmerand by Desigen. Black and white. Good head and eye. Level topline, tail set on high. Really showed himself off in the class, moved well. 2. Seath’s, Lharing Play among the Stars over Penliza. Masculine solid gold body. Good head, eyes and mouth. Well balanced level topline. Moved well. 3. Robert’s, Lyndew Little Gentleman.
LD. (17). 1. Richardson’s, Bellakerne Barnaby Do. Quality black and white. Good head, eyes, mouth. Level topline, tail set on high. Excellent bone and ribcage and super angulation. Moved with drive. Lost out in the challenge, playing his owner up and chasing the bitch but I would take him home and day. DCC. 2. Stevens’, Peekin Bartimeus Tu. Another handsome gold and white. Dog in a strong class. All the attributes of one but just lost out on the day. 3. Goodwin’s, Chelhama Aquaris.
OD. (8). 1. Howard’s, Tameron Mr Xs. Gold and whote well balanced and presented. Good head, eyes, body and ample bone. Level topline well set tail. Moved with drive. RCC. 2. Crossley’s, Santosha Santorini. Sound as a pound to go over. Well balanced and presented. All the attributes of winner but a little spooked on the move on the day. 3. Steven’s, Peekin Reddy Teddy Tu.
MPB. (10). 1. Goodwin’s, Kucheng Klassic Capers at Cabbala. Stylish brindle and white so mature for her age. A proper little showgirl. Well proportioned hood head, eyes and mouth. Tail set on high. Kept her shape on the move. BP. 2. Brown’s, Rossvale Chinese Whispers. Gold and white. A baby next to the winner but not lacking in quality. Well balanced nice body. Lovely expression, moved well. 3. Monks’, Paliden Rhapsody in Red for Morhenjo.
PB. (12). 1. Brooks’s, Sarosim I’m a Bonus. Grey and white old fashioned type. So full of herself. Good head, eyes, level topline. Good body. A little character too these three little ladies. Will change places many times. Quality puppies. 2. Cookes’, Thaisu Amore. Another bonnie babe. Solid gold. Again good head and overall shape. Ample body and good rib. Tail high set. Moved well. 3. Gregory’s, Marpalyn Chanelle.
JB. (8). 1. Howland’s, Tanibet Lady be Good. Black and white. Nice size and shape. Head and eyes ok. Balanced, moved out well. 2. William’s, Paliden Calypso. Blackish? Pretty girl longer cast than winner. God head and expression. Good body, moved well. 3. Taylor’s, Lharing Yum Yum with Fewaun.
NB. (7). 1. Brooks’s, Sarosim Trigger Pride. Good head and eyes. Balanced, good ribs, level topline. Moved well. 2. Diffeys’, Marhilway Lady Luck. Gold and white. Not the maturity of winner. A nice young lady but needs time. 3. Scannell’s, Jaquinta Eternal Flame.
PGB. (17). 1. Anderton’s, Pekoe Pick me Up. Nicest I have seen from this kennel for a long time. Feminine gold and brindle and white. Good head and eyes, nice mouth and expression. Good body size and shape. Well covered ribs, good angulation. Tail set on high. Moved and showed well. Kept her shape on the move. Head held high. BCC and BOB. 2. Hornbuckle’s, Toluka Harry’s, Little Miss Sunshine. Gold and white. Shine, she did in a strong class. Good head, lovely dark eyes. Level topline, good mouth. Well bodied, moved well. 3. Buchanans’, Nachubans in the Buff.
LB. (9). 1. Goodwins’, Chelhama Indian Summer. Gold and white. Good head and eyes. Well balanced. Nice size and shape. Tail carried high. Noce on the move. 2. Davies’s, Harropine up on the Roof at Navross. Black and white, slightly larger than the winner, but overall balance ok. Moved out well with tail held high. 3. Lawrences’, Huxlor Political Affair.

Nice head and expression, good mouth. Good topline, tailset and
body. Nice shape held well on the move. 2. Goodwin’s, Ch. Cabbala
the Cutting Edge. Black and white. Beautifully presented. A worthy
champion, all has already been said. 3. Paczkowski’s, Ch. Santosha
