Utility group critique

Another strong group with a lot of nice dogs and shortlisted were the Akita, Min Poodle, Shar-pei, Boston Terrier, Schipperke, German Spitz klein, Shih Tzu, Keeshond and the Tibetan Terrier.

The striking, well presented, sound moving Tibetan Terrier, Ch Araki Fabulous Willy, a young dog that makes the most of himself and I was happy to award him the top spot. Second to him the German Spitz klein Ch Orion Mirror Image was on the heels of the Tibetan, I don’t think I have put my hands on one of this quality before. Third the Keeshond Ch Stratus Eastern Knight, a beautiful dog so full of quality, maybe his jacket could have been better on the day, but that is nitpicking. The Shih Tzu Ch Hashanah Hot Shot was fourth, he has a massive head, correct proportions and a correct tail, so seldom seen nowadays.
