Thank you to the exhibitors for your entry and to those who travelled a long journey, it was appreciated. Again the bitches were stronger than the dogs. Overall there was quality showing but fronts still need watching, the layback of shoulder needs to be addressed.

2. JOnes’s, Monschau Flashman for Fairlou. Another lovely babe, he has everything going for him he just needs time to settle. Again a nice head, sweet expression, dark eyes. Great little character only just 6 months old, his time will come.

Strong arched neck with shoulders, deep chest and good ribbing. Well muscled, good bone, level topline held on the move. Nice free mover and well presented.
2. Edmond’s, Bhandari Toffee Nose. Very well named, a tipped tilled nose that gave the typical arrogant air of Shih Tzu, combined with a pleasing head. A good layback of shoulder, level back and good bend of stifle, gave him the tools to drive around the ring in style. Very well presented.

LD. (7,abs2). What a strong class, everyone was a winner.
1. Frank’s, Hashanah Lock Stock ‘n’ Barrel. What a lovely young man. I gave him the Reserve ticket last time out, haven’t changed my mind. Good angulation both fore and aft. Good tailset. Moved freely round the ring in style, side gait was a picture. Showing good front extension. Excellent presentation as expected from this kennel. My pleasure to award him CC and BOB and to see him take G4 under Jean Lanning.
