Northern Counties Spring Open Show

 I felt honoured to be invited to judge this lovely breed at their Open Show. Presentation was excellent on the exhibits and in most cases movement was sound so many decisions were very close.

MPD. (2). 1. Rosser's, Stenross Tome Traveller. A delightful black and white puppy with good head and body proportions for age. Excellent temperament and moved really well.

PD. (1). 1. Meaden's, Amorina Hot Topic. A 10 months old gold with good head, eye and pigment. Balanced in body. Sound in movement and presented in good coat and condition.

JD. (5). 1. Scannell's, Jacquinta if by Chance JW. 17 months old black and white. Good head and pigment. Good body shape just right amount for size. Moved well. RBD. 2. Chadwick's, Santosha Casanova to Hajenza. 12 months old gold. Good body shape. Correct skull to foreface. Not quite the movement of winner. 3. Pearson's, Cedarhythe Chance Your Luck.

GD. (3). 1. Devine and Malone's, Mirazian Artitsa Impression. A siler dog with good head and expression. Ample bone for size. Good neck and shoulder. Balanced in body and sound on the move.

PG. (7). 1. Devine and Grace's, Mirazian Symbol of Freedom JW. A beautifully presented gold and white who took my eye as soon as he walked into the ring. Excellent head and expression. Good neck and shoulder placement. True topline both standing and moving. Well carried tail ad moved with purpose. BD and BIS. 2. Morris's, Baranova Deadly Affair at Sazkey. Gold and white. Another with good body shape. Well presented. Good front and hind action and sound. 3. Henry's, Mylurose Touchin' Wood for Morhenjo.

LD. (3). 1. Dowson's, Penorson Liang. A gold and white with good head and expression. Good tailset and carriage. Just right for bone and substance and moved well. OD. (3). 1. Morris's, Santosha Golden Sunrise over Sazkey. Solid gold with good body shape. Well presented and sound on the move. 2. Vose's, Zuthis Bug a Lugs. A 7 years old. Well presented. Carrying a little extra weight but otherwise sound.

VD. (2). 1. Chadwick's, Hanjenza Incatation. An 8 year old gold and white. Presented in excellent coat and condition. True topline both moving and standing. Well carried tail and sound on the move.

SpBEGIN D (3). 1. Scannell's, Jacquinta if by Chance JW. 2. Cedarhytha Chance Your Luck.

MPB. (4). 1. William's, Paliden Gold 'n' Precious. An 8 months old solid gold with true feminine head and expression. Well presented and with correct topline and tailset. Moved well both ways. 2. Howard's, Tameron Miss Nina Ricki. Gold and white 8 months old. Good bone and substance. Well presented with good balance of body and sound on the move. 3. Sweeney's, Santosha Violet from Marionswood.

PB. (6). 1. Lintern's, Hashanah the Thought of You with Mingshu. 10 months old black and white. Beautifully presented. Well laid shoulder. Good balance of skull for foreface. Oriental expression. Moved soundly both fore and aft. BPIS and RBB. 2. Tamaron Miss Nina Ricki.

 JB. (5). 1. Martin's, Grandavon Orange Orchid. 17 months old gold and white. Balance all through with true topline and tailset. Good pigment. Moved well. 2. Rosser's, Stenross Calander Girl. 14 months old black and white. Well presented and balanced. Just lacked the drive of winner on the move. 3. Shaw's, Metadale Party On.

MB. (3). 1. William's, Paliden Gold 'n' Precious. 2. Shaw's, Metadale Party On. NB. (3). 1. Martin's, Grandavon Orange Orchid. 2. William's, Paliden Gold 'n' Precious.

GB. (3). 1. Devine's, Miarzian Nokkia Socks Off. A gold with oriental head and expression. Good pigment. Correct balance of skull to foreface. Sound on the move both ways. 2. Sweeney's, Santosha Violet from Marionswood. Well presented. Good bone and substance. Well set on tail and moved soundly.

 PGB. (3). 1. Doyle's, Mylurose Scarlet Robbons. Gold and white. Balanced in body with well laid shoulders. Good coat and condition. True topine bith moving and standing. Sound. 2. Henry's, Paliden Rhapsody in Red for Morhenjo. A really dark red with sweet feminine head. Good balance of skull to foreface. Just right for size and balanced all through. 3. Hyam's, Sandolin Spring in the Step.

 LB. (4). 1. Bushell's, Superloin Redoute Rose at Caserose JW. A beautful bitch in every department. True oriental head. Good body shape and size. Well laid shoulders. Just right for bone. Topline correct both moving and standing andcovered the ground with free action. BB and RBIS. 2. Salt's, Harropine Minfaa Chantilly Lace. Another really nice bitch who has all the essentials. Moved and showed well and presented in excellent condition. 3. Hyam's, Sandolin Spring in the Step.

OB. (2). 1. Salt's, Harropine American Beauty at Mertadale. A well balanced black and white bitch presented in excellent coat with good undercoat. Good head and feminine expression. Nice outline with well set on tail. Sound on the move. 2. Dowson's, Tsantha Lucky in Love. Another black and white nicely balanced and sound.
