I was more than pleased with my entry both in numbers and quality and since many recent critiques have commented on lack of broad heads, broad chests and incorrect tail carriage made me more than a tad apprehensive as to what I would find, however my fears were not realised: the exhibits were of high standard both the ones I placed and many others. I would like to suggest that when assessing breeding stock, far more attention should be given to the skeleton and the way it is put together, on which to hang the magnificent coats.
