Not the most eye-catching utility group I have judged but I was more than happy with my shortlist and group placings.

G1 went to the mature, glamorous Shih Tzu, Ch Hashannah Lock Stock N Barrel, who possesses all the breed essentials without exaggeration, good bite and dentition, firm well boned body, lovely coat and furnishings, moved soundly and with style keeping a good outline. Michael Quinney

1st SUPERLION ANDY MAN AT ROSEJOY (MR A & MRS LC WRIGHT) Full of arrogance and attitude, much more confident in himself than his handler! 6 months r/w full of type, excellent head, large eyes, good for balance. Can tighten a little in front action but correct topline, tail carriage and action. I see one of several class winners by Ch, Huxlor Trigger Happy so that type obviously appealed. I liked this puppy a lot. hope his handler will realise what she has here.

2nd ROSSVALE MAKE MY DAY (MR S & MRS S BROWN)

7 month gold, lovely eyes and large round head, excellent action. Not quite as firm in topline as 1 but full of type.

2nd BERINSHILL RAZ DAZ (MRS C A & MISS C M BOYLE) 9 months better presented with glistening white markings and carries himself very well. Not quite the bone of 1 who was a little larger in eye but this dog should come on well.
