Thank you to the Society for their wonderful hospitality and
many thanks to my very efficient stewards. I had a great day. My thanks to the
exhibitors for their entries with the distance some had to travel plus entry
fees I was pleased with my entries. I did struggle with some classes to find the
right type to fit the standard. If the head pleased me the movement may not have
been correct for me and if the movement was alright the head was alien to my
interpretation of the oriental head. My main winners fitted the standard nicely
and I was very pleased with the construction, balance and the heads were
correct. My observations this time I judged have not changed, what are we doing
to our breed? The layback of shoulder in some cases lay in the neck, some
ribcages were short and shallow, heads were small and flat, the ear placement
too high. Before breeding know and study the standard, breed to achieve that
standard don;t settle for second best and show only the best. We all owe that to
our lovely breed, we need to preserve it.

1st: Mr & Mrs WILLIAMS Paliden Shining Star Lovely red gold and
white puppy. Mischievous, wilful expression that just melted me. Quite mature
for his age. Nice size and a good size head with well spaced dark eyes, nice
nose placement. Well balanced deep firm ribs. Level topline, good tailset. Moved
well, coped well for a baby with the uneven terrain. Coat well presented. Could
have taken this little sweetie home, no problem. BP

Nice gold and white boy. Lovely head, dark eye. Nice reach of neck. Good
angulation, body developing nicely. In good coat well presented. Moved well.

man. He has a wonderful head with the darkest of eyes, good pigmentation, lovely
jaw and bite. Nice arched neck onto a good lay of shoulder. Deep well sprung
ribcage. Good bone, nice angulation. Moved with drive. Well presented as are all
from this kennel.

Another super young man. He too had a very pleasing head with lovely dark eyes.
Nicely balanced in good proportion, ample rib, well constructed. Moved well,
looking at his parentage I could see why I was drawn to him. He pleased me, I
think human Mum was pleased too. Will look out for him in the future.

and white young man. So self assured. Good head, dark eye, good dentition in a
wide jaw. Nicely constructed with good quarters. Ample spring of rib. Level
topline. Moved with good front extension. Presented in good coat, well handled.
Should have a good future. Admired him from the ringside he didn;t disappoint.

and white boy. Nice expressive eyes, good head, correct ear set, wide jaw and
correct dentition. Well constructed fore and aft. Well let down chest with good
spring of rib. Lovely style and balance, well muscled thighs. No exaggeration on
this young dog he should be a canvass for novice breeders to follow. They don’t
get much better than this. My pleasure to award him the CC and BOB
2nd: Mr C J & Mrs M J SYMONDS Huxlor Ride Him Cowboy At Symaraju This
young man has a nice expression and lovely dark pigment. Ample reach of neck on
good shoulders. Firm coat. I have admired him many times and he was so unlucky
to meet winner in such good form. I myself know how frustrating it can be when
you know that the judge should like your dog and if it’s any consolation I do
really like him

well on the move. Moved freely with style. Lovely presentation

attributes apply. Movement free, stylish, good head. Presentation first class,
just preferred the expression of winner.

Another quality boy. I judged him as a youngster and have watched him improve
with time. He has a lovely charisma about him. Such a shame to meet winner in
such good form. Nice head and expression. Well constructed. Nicely balanced.
Presented in immaculate condition. Moved well.

a credit to her owner mum who keeps her in full coat well groomed. Nicely made
with good construction. Lovely nature and a willingness to please her provider.
She moved round the ring as though she was really enjoying her day out. I had an
added bonus, I had a kiss form her before I gave her a place. Thank you for
bringing her under me.

young lady. She is quite a little star and as a star can be temperamental. She
spoilt her chances in the final line up. In her class she was a model of best
behaviour and won the class with her star qualities. Her head is her forte and
she covers the ground well. She was put down to perfection in lovely coat. Hope
she develops on.

bitch. Nice head and dark eye. Good neck and level topline. Strong quarters used
well to cover the ground, giving a pleasing balanced outline standing and on the
move. Well presented in lovely coat.

young lady from the ringside and I was not disappointed. So nice to go over full
filling the standard. Beautiful head with that melting inquisitive stare, so
Shih Tzu. Enough arch to the neck to be elegant with a nice lay of shoulder.
Level topline standing and moving. Good firm thighs, which aided her string
movement over the uneven grass. She was a picture standing and moving in lovely
coat, presentation first class. Pleased to award her the first CC.

little bitch, so pleased I was able to up her position to be able to write her a
critique. Lovely expression, good head with dark correctly spaced impish eyes.
Nicely constructed body, firm quarters. Well balanced. Stylish mover with a nice

looked at. Her balanced outline gave her such quality, she was hard to deny.
This time I think the uneven ground was hard for her to cope with I have seen
her move better. Presented to perfection as always from her owner.
2nd: Mr R D & Mrs J E JONES Shanjo Heart Breaker for Fairlou Nice
black and white young lady. Good honest bitch, nice firm body with good depth of
rib. Level topline and well balanced. Nice high tailset. Moved well but I have
seen her move better, perhaps the terrain again. The bitches did not cope so
well on the day. Well presented in lovely coat.
