I would like to thank the committee for the invitation also the exhibitors for the good entry considering there was 3 shows in 5 days. The weather was not too kind but the indoor ring was ok. I still found poor dentition & white of eye a common problem. A number of heads are still too small and not typical, this has crept in during the last few years and does nothing for the breed. The K.C. standard states head broad, muzzle of ample width these features cannot fit into a small head. I am sure that future breeding programmes will endeavour to eliminate this fault giving us back the beautiful heads of the past.
