Enchanting r/w, full of fun, supremely confident with true Shih Tzu arrogance. He simply took the ring by storm, lovely chrysanthemum head with a bright intelligent expression in his dark eyes, wide healthy nostrils, so well conformed all through with excellent topline, balance, tailset and carriage. Well presented, allowing him to make the best of himself and he did. Definitely the one the judge wanted to take home! BP
2nd:  Mr T S COX, Mr L A S & ISHERWOOD Vanitonia Rooster Booster
Slightly longer in neck than the winner and not as confident since, unfortunately, I gather he had had a nasty experience before coming into the ring but managed to pull himself together and moved well .Good wide nostrils and dark eye, he scored on layback of shoulder over third.

2nd:  Mrs P M MAULE Daltricia Argonaut
Gold/w with a wonderful head and expression, good pigment, wide nostrils, beautifully made all through. He moved well but was somewhat all over the place in showmanship with his tail up, down and round on the move. Full of fun, he made me smile. Obviously a dog with a great sence of humour.

R/w sweet feminine head, good pigment & topline, excellent body and tailset.Great showgirl who can still firm a touch in front.
2nd:  Mr P G & Mrs S L MASSON Stefvonhaven Sweet Pea at Eribie
Typey Grey/w with gorgeous head and expression, lovely outline, in excellent coat. Moving well behind but somewhat wild and overenthusiastic in showmanship and I was unable to judge her front movement fairly. Maybe she was just too hot and who could blame her?

Pale gold/w with the most beautiful head & expression, so good to handle as she is well made all through with firm, sturdy body, good layback of shoulder and hind angulation. So well balanced with level back and good deep chest. Lives up to her name in coat which is just not quite fully mature as yet but otherwise quite lovely. Her time will surely come. RCC.

1st:  Mr M G & Mrs T A HITT Cedarhythe Classic Design JW Sh.CM
Ultra glamorous b/w of classic proportions & substance, beautifully presented in the best of coat and condition. So well balanced and, simply a joy to handle with all the parts fitting so firmly into the whole with good layback of shoulder, where she scored in the final assessment. Beautiful chrysanthemum head, lovely pigment and eye, wsell set and carried tail. Holds herself proudly and moves so well. CC which, I gather gives her her well deserved title, and BOB. I was thrilled to see her shortlisted in the Group under Brenda Banbury.
2nd:  Mr W & Mrs D BARRON Maitreya Cinder Ella
Charming solid gold, in smaller mould than the winner, good for make and shape, full of fun and so energetic with well textured coat, she moved with a spring in her stride, just not quite as firm in front as the winner. Scored on mouth and balance over third.
