Best Puppy: SYMONDS' CASEROSE RODEO STAR AT SYMARAU

I would like to thank the exhibitors for the large quality entry which on a Friday in July was v pleasing. In general I found the quality of the entry good but the breed has many different types at present which made judging at times difficult. The d’s I found to be overall of a higher quality than the b’s which is the first time I have noticed this since I began giving tickets in the breed. Many exhibitors will know that I give high priority to movement as I believe a well constructed d moves with balance and freedom.

MPD (9). This was a lovely class with some v promising p’s.
1 Symonds Caserose Roded Start At Symaraju. Brindle and white boy, 7 mnths, with lovely balance moved with style and confidence. I particularly liked his strong hind action and good level topline. Good head and expression and lovely dark pigment. My BP;
2 Grugan’s Jardhu Like Arte Made. A gold and white, 7 mnth d. Quite mature for this age. A v attractive head with a good wide jaw. A confident extrovert p who moved well retaining good balance;
3 Bell and Turrell’s Harropien Chico Time At Bellywaycharm.

PD (6).
1 Lord’s Easy Rider At Huxlor. Gold and white d, 11 mnths. V mature for his age, beautiful head and expression. Lovely nose placement and wide jaw, level topline moved soundly with style and balance. I’m sure he will have a bright future;
2 Grugan’s Jardhus Trago Trauma. A gold and white d, 11 mnths of a smaller type. Shown in heavy coat. I particularly liked his lovely high tailset. Good head with dark eyes and pigment. Moved well with confidence;
3 Bell and Turrell’s Harropine Chico Time At Bellywaycharm.

JD (7). What a gorgeous class to judge. Quite a difference in the type of d’s but my winners all showed the same lovely balance, both standing and moving.
1 Young and Paradise Weatsom Take One To Know One At Sonoltay. Gold and white, I loved his head and expression so attractive but still masculine. Lovely nose placement and wide jaw, good bone and excellent spring of rib. A lovely high tail set. Stylish free flowing mover. One to watch in the future. My RCC winner;
2 Clifford’s Morhenjo Smooching Cedarhythe. An eye-catching black and white youngster with such natural balance, both standing and moving. Lovely free flowing movement. Liked his head and expression. Heavy bone for his size. Unlucky to meet the class winner today but should have a bright future;
3 Stangelands Weatsom Pole Position.

GD (2). Only 2 in this class but both quality exhibits.
1 Rutter’s Chankos To Catch A Dream For Ethelsmead. Quality gold and white youngster, who caught my eye as soon as he entered the ring. Lovely broad head with a super nose placement, and width of eyes giving a melting expression. Good reach of neck, I particularly liked his high tailset. Needs to mature in attitude. Gave his handler a hard time;
2 Carwardines Seadog The Lions In Winter. Black and white d of a good size and type. Unlucky to meet the winner today. Another youngster with time on his side. I loved his firm well muscled body missing in some exhibits today. Needs to finish in coat to complete the picture.

LD (13). What a lovely big class full of quality. All the 5 I placed are capable of winning the class on their day.
1 Murrell’s Cradarr He’s A Cracker At Krisquest. My eventual dog CC winner. Not a large d but full of quality. Nothing too exaggerated but certainly fits the breed standard in many ways. Such good balance, free easy mover. Lovely reach of neck and level topine. High tailset, good broad skull and a soft but masculine expression. I’m told this gave him his title;
2 Hitt’s Socorro Feel Me Touch Me At Miracey. Blk/w of a larger type. Loved his head and expression. Good broad skull, dark eyes and excellent width of jaw. Shown today in heavy coat and so beautifully presented. Anyone who has shown black and whites will know the dedication and work needed to deliver this high standard;
