This was a quality entry and in some classes good dogs went down the line and in some cases went cardless. Overall I found the worst problem to be the shortness of ribs which seems to have gone right through the breed. I was pleased to find v little eye white, but eyes are getting a little almond shaped rather than round and some v light in colour. Many tails are flat but this has been a problem for quite a while. After saying this I was more than delighted with my winners.

1st: : REWBURY'S ASHWENEL LIKELY STORY  Gold and white with black mask, lovely breed type, wonderful outline, best head to tail balance of the day, beautiful dark round eyes, good nose placement, excellent mouth, good bone and spring of rib, nice front, moved well, strong contender for the RCC but just preferred the rear action of the RCC winner
2nd: : RUSSELL & EVANS' MATSUBA YM YOUR MAN  Gold and white, V typical of his breeding. Lovely head, soft expression, good head to tail balance, good rear angulation covered the ground well;

2nd: : PHILLIPS & DIFFEY'S GRAIGLLAN LOUD AND CLEAR Gold and white, with the softest of expression, really lovely eyes, dark round and well placed, good skull shape, tip tilted nose and perfect mouth, correct front, good spring of rib, good angulation, level topline, strong mover ccovered the ground well, v close up to first;

2nd: : DIFFEY'S MARHILWAY JUST ONE LOOK V striking deep red and white p. V dark eyes (which in this coat colouring can sometimes be a little light). Excellent pigmentation, good head shape, wide jaw, good strong neck and high tail, good chest and well boned, moved really well;

1st: : SPOONER'S CH CHANIKOS JUSTA DREAM JW And what a dream! This b has it all. From the tip of her beautifully placed nose to the tip of her tail she fits the standard perfectly. Beautifully presented gold, brindle and white with lovely head shape and expressive dark well placed eyes, lovely tip tilted nose and the best mouth of the day. Head to tail her balance is superb with just he right leg height. Good chest, bone, neck, top line, v good front and rear action effortlessly sailing round the ring. BCC and BOB;
